In this chapter, Percy, Lauren, and Judy take a trip to St. Augustine's Hospital, a rundown creepy location in the middle of nowhere, where they investigate multiple obvious traces of intense biochemical experimentation - and discover horrors along the way that are almost (in fact, directly) reminiscent of the Resident Evil universe, including a horrendous transformation that takes place right before Percy's own eyes.
