In this chapter, Bally attempts to find additional information on his mysterious spell, even visiting the local library where he accidentally discovers a strange volume on the art of hypnosis. Meanwhile, Tracy decides to sabotage his efforts to do extra work for his Mom so as to avoid getting drafted, which threatens to deteriorate Bally's relations with his mean elder sister even further.
