In this chapter, Orpheus and Fanora complete their scheme of substituting the real Francene for her "Doppelganger" and successfully bring Fanora's trusty elven maid to New Lark City, where they help her settle down at Beatrix's place and get accustomed to her new life - which, given her elfish appearance, is not that easy to do in a big urban setting.
