Double Homework: Episode 4.2

Double Homework (by Palmer, 2019-2022)

Episode 4.2. Just Like A Pervert Version Of Elon Musk

"Hmm... How far would Ms. Walsh REALLY take it to, though?"

In this episode, having spent an awkward night on the couch spooning Tamara, Alvin is relieved to discover in the morning that Johanna seems perfectly alright, but his good mood is soon spoiled once again by Ms. Walsh, who, for some reason, decides that her reputation might be saved by moving the students from the classroom to the library. This does, however, offer Dennis a chance to extend his deal with Alvin after showing him some odd compromising webcam videos of Rachel, Lauren, and Ms. Walsh herself. Later in the evening, a heart-to-heart explanation with Johanna suddenly goes off in a strange direction after Alvin decides to plant a kiss on his sister's cheek...

Episode 4.1. Not Too Desperately Seeking Johanna

"For the record, little brother, you worry too much about your sisters..."

In this chapter, Alvin sets most of his troubles aside in his quest to get back in touch with Johanna, who has seemingly experienced some sort of breakdown after seeing a paparazzi article about Alvin's "wild" night of clubbing in Lauren's company. While waiting for Tamara to join him, Alvin takes a moment to bond a little more closely with Morgan, the "rebel girl"; after this, he and Tamara spend some time wandering around the city in search of Johanna, but finally return home and find her (seemingly) safe and sound asleep. Exhausted for nothing, Alvin and Tamara cuddle together on the couch and drift away in the comfortable company of each other...

Episode 3.2. Mass-Murderer Enjoys Nightlife While Victims Rot

"I feel an orgasm coming on, but my imagination is taking hold..."

In this episode, our hero is taken out to a club date by Lauren, the Posh Girl, whom he even manages to sweeten up with some smooth conversation along the way. The clubbing experience, by contrast, turns out to be unbearable, both due to the loud music and to an unexpected encounter with Ms. Walsh, their teacher; fortunately, Lauren finds a nice way to make up for this torture by providing a much-needed service in the bathroom. Back at school the next day, Alvin finally confronts Dennis about the alleged nude pics on his phone and receives a startling revelation about his competitor's skills in the art of creating "deepfakes"...

Episode 3.1. Disgruntled Hot Students, Misguided Hot Teachers

"Whatever happened to us getting along, Rachel?"

In the first half of Chapter 3, Alvin continues to get even more confused at his summer school class, faced with an arrogant teacher who won't teach her class, an ex-lover who detests his presence so much she cannot even share a gym with him, and a weird nerdy classmate whom Alvin somehow has to get to confess about owning nude pics of all the girls in class. The only good piece of news about all this confusion is that for some reason, Lauren, the "classiest" girl in class, suddenly invites Alvin on a clubbing date - which might at least be a good change from all the craziness surrounding our protagonist.

Episode 2.2. Never Too Late To Renew Your Breast Acquaintance

"Her eyes are the headlights and I am the deer..."

In this episode, Alvin's first day at summer school ends with an embarrassing, if somewhat titillating, run-in with a half-naked Rachel in the girls' locker room, and a rather strange gesture from Tamara, who manages to disturb her brother in more ways than one at the same time. The next day, Alvin is surprised to learn that Ms. Walsh has actually been retained as the class "instructor", despite not really wanting to teach anybody anything - and as if that wasn't enough, Henry the School Idiot opens up a really nasty secret about Dennis, which clearly prompts for action, but which action, Alvin isn't really sure...

Episode 2.1. In Search Of The Nash Equilibrium For Chasing Pussy

"Oh my God! Are you famous?..."

In this episode, Johanna drags Alvin out to his first day at summer school, which begins quite inauspiciously when he discovers that none other than Tamara herself is welcoming him at the registrar's office, where she has taken a temporary summer job to pay the bills. At least the girls who are stuck in the same class as Alvin all seem pretty hot... that is, until his own ex-girlfriend Rachel joins the congregation, bringing on a whole lot more bad memories. On top of it all, the teacher assigned to the class turns out to specialize in mentally challenged students, adding insult to injury. You know things really suck if it takes a clumsy, pervy, silver-tongued nerd named Dennis to bring you out of your stupor by suggesting to equally divide all the girls in the class between the two of you for courting purposes...

Episode 1.2. A Trip To The Fair With Someone Who Cares

"Something is born in me... something I don't think I could suppress..."

In this chapter, after a lot of kicking and struggling and a lengthy session of small talk during which she informs Alvin that she will actually be accompanying him to summer school this year, Johanna finally drags her depressed brother into town and all the way out to the state fair. There, Alvin manages to take a few steps toward recovery - first, when he decides to win a prize for Johanna in a shooting game, and next, mustering the courage to have a brief chat with his bumbling, alcohol-dependent friend Henry. After a quick stop at the bar (where we learn that Johanna is not much of a beer fan), brother and sister take the time to watch the fireworks at the waterfront, and this is when Alvin begins to sense that there might be something bigger than pure brotherly and sisterly empathy between himself and the gentle red-headed fairy next to him...

Episode 1.1. The Two Most Important People In My Life

"One goes for the finish, the other stops to smell the flowers..."

In the opening chapter of Palmer's last game, Double Homework, we are introduced to Alvin, an ambitious young sportsman living together with his two relatives, the gorgeous redheads Tamara and Johanna. Having suffered a terrible skiing accident during his preparation for the Olympics (which apparently caused the demise of a number of people as well), Alvin goes into a state of total depression, locking himself in his room, seeing no one and playing video games all day... until, eventually, Johanna pressures him to accept the visit of Dr. Mosely, the intelligent (and bodaceous) school counsellor. Faced with the choice of forever disappearing from the human record or enlisting in summer school to catch up on all the stuff he'd missed, Alvin reluctantly accepts the second choice - and, with Johanna's assistance, makes his first, feeble attempt to step back into the light...

"It's such a wonderful feeling, being inside of her..."

In the final part of the Lily ending, we see Lily and Richard give up their cozy and stable existence at the diner and embrace a wild, exciting life of travel and adventure - only to end it at Lily's old house, where she introduces Richard to her parents and finally ties the knot by making love to her boyfriend in her old bedroom. This is the final episode in the saga of Daughter for Dessert.

Episode 21.1. I'm A Mess Without My Little Korean Girl

"Well... do I finally get to see it now?"

In the final alternative ending, we backtrack quite a bit to a fateful date with Lily right before Amanda's disappearance - with a nice walk in the park, some icecream, and finally a tender and innocent lovemaking session in her apartment which makes her liaison with Richard official... much to the dazzled surprise of his daughter and the rest of his employees.
