The next morning, things seem to be looking up on the bright side - but Richard and Amanda find their life is about to be seriously shaken up when the bitchy lady from yesterday suddenly returns and, this time around, shows herself ready to disclose her identity.

Back at the diner, however, things follow the usual working routine - except for a weirdly bitchy and mysterious lady customer leaving Amanda a thousand dollar tip, and Detective Mortelli behaving even more bizarrely than usual.

In this chapter, Richard and Amanda finally lug the jukebox to Whiskeyville's repair shop, which turns out to be run by an extremely hot local country girl who is herself in need of some repairs - and, perhaps, a little male company on top of that. Back in their motel, our heroes discover that the room is equipped with a vibrating bed - but when they decide to test it out, the resulting excitement turns out to have a distinctly sexual nature...

Nothing much happens on the road except for some conversation, a cute game of Twenty Questions, a charming detour to admire some scenery (along with Amanda's pretty face), and an encounter with a rather odd female hitchhiker who seems to have turned her life into an actual RPG.
