In this chapter, Jessica prepares herself for the fundraiser party, to which she had been invited for the Mayor, and turns to Heather to devise a new (and absolutely killer) look for the evening.

As she and Conner arrive at the party, they are met by the Mayor and his gorgeous secretary, Shani, with the Mayor hellbent on dragging Jessica into his little political games with the powerful Senator Harris.
